Another Smug Face and Two Middle Fingers From Rep. Flannigan

I received this email tonight and felt it worthy of posting for all to see.  I’ve removed the names and email addresses to protect the innocent.

The following message was sent out by Representative Dennis Flannigan, D-27th District, to several people in response to the heat he is taking regarding his failure to uphold the will of the people regarding I-960.

This really does indicate how arrogant the tax-and-spend Democrats in Olympia are.

Thought you might want to see this response.  No – we no not live in his district, but interesting reply…..actually this is truly unbelievable!

I deleted the letter writers name before forwarding, not because he asked, but because I felt it should not be sent out to hundreds.  This is the very same response from Rep. Dennis Flannigan to several people who wrote him to say no to a state income tax:

Serving portions of Tacoma and Fife in Pierce County.

Life as a representative is pretty cloistered. We’re down here; you’re out there. Maybe this website can keep us in touch.

Subject: RE: STOP SPENDING / NO NEW TAXES!!!!!! – OUR FIX

I appreciate your warm words of encouragement. I know you?ll work hard to defeat me. You should begin sending money to the anti-me campaign immediately. It will be well spent, and assure that I do not return to the legislature. Hurry, write that check, make it count. And, I appreciate your forwarding the same letter every other idiot is forwarding. Glad to have people who don?t think for themselves weigh in on such important issues. Since you live in Everett, I imagine you?ll be driving down daily to doorbell in my district. I?m so impressed with your ability to work all over the state from your cave in Snohomish County.

The Writer’s thoughts:

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU.  Who do you think we are that you can arrogantly ignore our will  You work for US not the state.  You are begging for a full scale tax revolt and it IS coming to Washington State.  You better start preparing a resume, because YOU are going to need a new job after the election.  Massachusetts and New Jersey should be a warning to you.  Maybe others won?t say it, but I will:  If you were and are complicit in the repeal of I-960 and passing new tax legislation you are a traitor towards the people you represent.  I have a 2100 person political mailing list for Washington residents who are as fed up as I am.  Here is what I am sending out today to all of them today:

Dear Patriots:

The only infallible, unstoppable, guaranteed way to get a truly new State Legislature is :

NEVER REELECT ANY TAX AND SPEND PROGRESSIVE INCUMBENT… AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

Most folks think I am too unreasonable in asking everyone to NEVER REELECT ANY TAX AND SPEND PROGRESSIVE INCUMBENT IN OUR STATE LEGISLATURE. They think it’s an ‘extremist’ position. But that’s the whole point! Our State Legislature will never listen to us UNLESS we scare the heck out of them! To drive the point home, NEVER REELECT ANY TAX AND SPEND PROGRESSIVE INCUMBENT IN OUR STATE LEGISLATURE, AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

The closer we get to a ‘Voter’s One-Term State Legislature’, the closer we’ll get to a ‘Citizen’s State Legislature’.

There is only one way to make this happen: The Washington voter must IMPOSE term limits on Our State Legislature by NEVER REELECTING TAX AND SPEND PROGRESSIVE INCUMBENT IN CONGRESS, AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

In other words, don’t let anyone serve more than one term. That’s the only way to teach them that the voter is the boss! The ‘one term limit’ can be eased AFTER citizens get control of Our State Legislature.

Our State Legislature will never allow us to constitutionally term limit them by an amendment. Our only choice is to NEVER REELECT them. Any of them!

Remember too, it makes no difference who you vote for, as long as it is to NEVER REELECT A TAX AND SPEND PROGRESSIVE INCUMBENT.

I believe that even a little success in a campaign to NEVER REELECT ANYONE IN OUR STATE LEGISLATURE would move us a long way toward a revolutionary change in American politics, much like 1776. Some of the reasons in favor of this approach:

- It gives us a one-term, term limited State Legislature without using amendments
- It would be supported by 70% of the state who want term limits for our State so-called ‘representatives’.
- It is completely non-partisan
- It eliminates special interests from becoming entrenched.
- It will save us billions in retirement benefits.
- If repeated, it ends career politicians dominating Our State Legislature
- It opens the way to a ‘citizen State Legislature’
- It ends the seniority system that keeps freshmen powerless
- It doesn’t cost you any money. But you MUST vote! Just don’t vote for an incumbent
- It is the only guaranteed, infallible, unstoppable way to ‘Throw ALL the Bums Out’
- It takes effect immediately the day after Election Day
- If it doesn’t work, do it again and again! It will work eventually, I promise.

NEVER REELECT ANYONE IN OUR STATE LEGISLATURE. AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

Pass this on to all you know who are fed-up with these arrogant elitist pinheads who lied to get elected and sold us out once there.

I wrote this arrogant, immature, unprofessional child an email and told him that I will donate to his opponent since we do not need this adolescent behavior in Olympia – we need grown ups who don’t look at the taxpayers as ATMs. I told him I was awaiting the childish response from his aides.

Who of you are tax-collectors? Are you being paid for your duty? Let’s think about it. Start with the consumer who buys products for which he pays a sales tax. Indirectly he is a tax collector. He coerses the retailer to add the sales tax. By that act he becomes the direct collector. He is not paid to manage the money collected. He is coersed by the State. If he defaults to send in the collection the State puts him out of business. His empoyees are laid off. The manufacturer increases the price of his products to offset any tax imposed on him. Indirctly he is a tax collector. He is not paid to collect. The State auditor tabulates the tax paid. He produces nothing yet gets a portion of the taxes in a salary, incremented yearly.
Think of a vise slowly ratching closed on a grape. Consumers stop buying those products requiring sales tax to purchase. The retailers start excrowing the sales tax they collect. They voluntarily go out of business or go to another state. Non-Empoyees have no money to buy sales-txed products. The Manufacturer has no buyers of his products, starts selling overseas. The State Auditor records less taxes collectd than before the tax increases. Ther is not enough funds to pay the legislators, and administrators. Oh, well, you get the drift. — Al Schaefer
When you see that in order to produce, you must obtain permission from men who produce nothing … and your laws don’t protect you against them but protect them against you … you may know that your society is doomed.”
