COMPLETE Listing Of Senators Who Voted On The Detention Bill (SB 1867)
This list is going into the “2012 Elections” section.
[TWG EDIT – DECEMBER 5, 2011 I’ve updated the entire list.
Here’s the text to Feinstein’s feeble attempt at tossing red herring..aka SA 1456.
SA 1456. Mrs. FEINSTEIN (for herself, Mr. Levin and Mr. Durbin) proposed an amendment to the bill S. 1867, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2012 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; as follows:
On p. 360, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following:(e) Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities, relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.
You see, if you are a LAW ABIDING citizen, this won’t apply to you. Sounds warm and fuzzy, doesn’t it?
To quote Ayn Rand:
The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.
Ayn Rand
They will destroy us with our own laws if we allow them to.
Don’t forget…….
Everything Hitler did was legal, too.

While I detest my own Senator, I will write a note, letting him know that his vote AGAINST this bill has not gone unnoticed.
I will, begrudgingly, Thank him for that vote.
But I will still fight his re-election.
I strongly encourage each and every one of you to identify how your own Senator voted on this, and write a quick note to let them know your feedback.

TEXT OF SB 1867 AS PASSED
Vote Details
Standard Projection
Horizontal bars indicate the two senators from a state voted differently.
Cartograms give an equal area in an image to an equal number of votes by distorting the image. Senate vote cartograms are shown with each state stretched or shrunk so that the states each take up an equal area because each state has two votes. For House votes, it is each congressional district which is stretched or shrunk.
I’m not sure your facts are correct, I just called Dianne Feinsteins office in DC. They said that she voted in Favor of SB 1867 only after successfully adding an amendment that exempts US citizens
Thanks so much for the correction, Craig!
I went back through the records, and it appears I recorded the votes on the bill AS SUBMITTED TO SENATE. Not after the Amendments were made.
I apologize for any confusion. I should have known Feinstein wouldn’t be against the unConstitutional detention of American Citizens.
The post has been corrected.
she voted for the bill ANYWAY after her amendment was shot down…SHE IS AS BAD AS THE REST
FEMA CAMPs next…
