Sheriff Threatens Feds With SWAT Team
As more people became dissatisfied with federal government controls and land grabs, it was inevitable that local law enforcement would eventually see the bigger picture. At the northern California fairgrounds of Yreka last month, seven California sheriffs and another from Oregon gathered with a large group of citizens to say that they are finally going to do something about it.
“A giant has been awakened,” said Plumas County, Calif. Sheriff Greg Hagwood, “and they didn’t count on that,” speaking of the federal bureaucracy.
With exposure of the Emergency Management Center in San Luis Obispo a few decades ago, California began to offer the rest of the nation some evidence of the psychological conditioning aimed from the federal level at state, county and city law enforcement.

Dean Wilson, sheriff of Del Norte County (Sacramento), is a great example of this great awakening. He received the loudest and longest applause for his candor in confessing past faults after apologizing for not understanding the central government assault and land grab being committed against the people and what he should have been doing about it. Only in the past year has he done a turnaround and begun to behave as a county sheriff instead of an extension of federal law enforcement.

“I had spent a good part of my life enforcing the penal code, but not understanding my oath of office,” he told the audience. “I was ignorant and naïve, but now I know of the assault against our people by the federal government.”
Host sheriff John Lopey of Siskiyou County, speaking about the federal environmental intervention, said: “I have told federal and state officials over and over that, yes, we want to preserve the environment, but you care more about the fish, frogs, trees and birds than you do about the human race. When will you start to balance your decisions to the needs of the people?” Later he told the audience, “We are right now in a fight for our survival.”
Glenn Palmer, sheriff of Grant County, Oregon, said, “If an elected official has not taken an oath of office, he does not belong in office.”
AFP readers are familiar with the work of former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, who has spent the latter half of his life teaching sheriffs that they are the top law enforcement officers in their counties despite continuing federal intervention attempts. The ears that were deaf for so long may finally be starting to hear.

“It’s becoming a national movement now,” Mack told AFP, citing Immigration and Naturalization Service failure at the Mexican borders, the phony drug war, plus IRS and other unconstitutional intervention within these states.
His plans to take this movement national will be launched at a January meeting, where he anticipates 200 sheriffs will be in attendance.
“The county sheriff is the last line of defense guarding our people’s liberty,” he said.
Retired USAF Col. Richard Niemela of Reston, Va. has been exposing the federal monster for years.

As a retired Chief of Police I commend those Sheriff’s who stand by their oath of office and who resist political correctness. Someone has to stop the agenda of the federal government and who better than those who have taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. The current occupyer of the White House certainly does not keep his oath.
As well as most of the members of Congress, who send him these bills to sign. I knew they were puppets of some shadow powers, but was hoping for change with BO. Well he has become the King Puppet. If you look close you can even see the strings attached to his hands as he signs those congressional bills they send him, that are shredding our Constitution.

Okay, I like a lot of what they have to say. But why are they not speaking out on Obama’s forged birth certificate? Sheriff Joe Arpaio is basically fighting the fight by himself. Sheriff Ed Rochford from NJ made one comment but has kept his head down ever since. None of these sheriffs have said a word about the obvious forgery. I could support these guys much more if they would stand up for the most important issue of the day.
You have to pick your fights. They are taking another important angle. Sheriff Joe is doing a good job. We are fighting a lot of fronts right now coming from these socialist bastards. I like what they are doing because it covers another angle and gives them socialist bastards something else to worry about and is wakeing up people in local government. We need this kind of support to fight the Federal takeover. Obama has already buried his chances of being re-elected. Remember it isn’t just about him it’s his whole damn administration, people in congress and the senate. This DHS and TSA thing has to end. I think this will spread like wildfire. The sheriffs are a tight nit group. It’s good to have them on our side.
I would doubt that Sheriff Baca of Los Angeles County would sign on to this. He is essentially a social worker in a uniform. He had a forum where he invited gang members to come and talk to members of the community in Compton. No gang members showed up. Think the TV cameras were a deterrent? Do you think the gang members want to be ID’d? He was baffled as to why they didn’t show. I had high hopes for him when he first got elected, but has failed his Dept. The only reason he is still Sheriff is because of his last name.

Sheriff Baca ought to consider pulling an obama and simply re-naming the “gangs”……. you know…. like they have with islamic terrorists and, more specifically, the muslim brotherhood. Surely they can repackage the gang-banging thugs much easier than they have repackaged communism, marxism, racism, socialism, fascism and our Constitution!
Rename those gang banging thugs something attractive and “peacefiul” sounding. You know….. something that makes them the victims, something that makes them worthy of a nobel prize! Surely the nobel “commission” can find a way to go along with that and “brainstorm” to come up with something palpable to call those vermin…. After all…. they did it for obama once already.

Thank God these guys are waking up. I have known Sheriff Mack for many years and he has said that if the Sheriffs knew what he knows this country would be a much safer and liberty minded place. I am very happy that this is happening now, I would have been a lot less worried about my country if it had started where it is now fifteen years ago when I met Sheriff Mack, but he has got the ball rolling and it is up to us and our great Sheriffs to keep it going! Please help them all to do the right thing any way you can. Be as helpful and supportive of these guys as you are able, they will be under huge pressure to give in to the agenda and will need all the help we can give. Scott Powelson
