Sandy Hook Mass Murder: The Argument About “Gun Free Zones” and “Gun Control”
Yesterday in Sandy Hook, CT, before the dead bodies had cooled, the marxist hollywood jesters and politicians were out in force, screaming about “gun control”. We knew the glassy eyeds would politicize this tragedy, but I didn’t think they’d be so vitriolic within MINUTES of the event. Simultaneous to the tragedy unfolding. Despicable.
Turns out, this kid Adam Lanzo had mental issues. He was also an avid VIDEO GAMER. As breaking news flashed across the television screen, I knew that somehow video games would come into the picture. But I digress…..
And now, the hollywood jesters and glassy eyed leftists are screaming for more “gun control”, you know, because it works so well in the GUN FREE ZONES where these mass murdering little demons like to play. Schools, shopping malls, universities. Instead of whining about forcing the government to steal our INALIENABLE Second Amendment rights, they ought to be demanding we abolish those so-called “gun free zones”, which are doing nothing but creating target rich environments for the mentally disturbed mass murderers. These “Gun free zones” are killing our children. BAN THEM.
FBI statistics prove that mass murderers purposefully choose “gun free zones” to commit their crimes, because they know there will be nobody shooting back at them. Mass murderers, especially those that target little children in schools, are COWARDS. They’re not going to choose an armed group of people to commit their heinous crimes. They choose defenseless children and citizens in shopping malls, today’s “gun free zones”. How many of these mass murderers would choose, say, a gun show exhibit or a target range to commit their heinous crimes?
The belief that these “gun free zones” will prevent crime relies upon flawed reasoning, namely the belief that criminals will be deterred by these new “gun free zone” laws, even know they are not deterred by longstanding laws against murder, armed robbery, etc.
A person who is willing to commit a serious crime like murder or armed robbery, or a person who is planning to kill themselves, will not even give a second thought the penalty for carrying a gun. They know that if they are caught, the gun possession charge will be the least of their worries, or they are too mentally disturbed to think rationally about and care about the penalties.
In short, criminals ignore gun control laws.
On the other hand, the law abiding students, teachers, and shoppers who were unable to defend themselves had a lot to live for, and didn’t want to risk their freedom and futures by facing a gun possession charge. A teacher who unlawfully carried a gun in self defense could lose their job, and face jail time. A college student who illegally carried a gun for self defense could be expelled and face bleak career prospects, in addition to the specter of a prison sentence. A mall shopper who unlawfully carried a gun would face similar prospects. This shows that the gun free zones only disarm the law abiding citizens who we don’t need to fear, and won’t deter the killers.
Criminals disobey laws
Criminals don’t abide by the laws of our society. Instead, they violate the laws for their own personal gain. It is this very fact that makes them criminals. This should be obvious.
A criminal who disobeys the law against murder, which is arguably the most strictly enforced law in our society, is not going to think twice about ignoring a gun ban law.
Some people will then argue that by banning guns all together, we will somehow keep the guns out of the hands of criminals, preventing them from having the guns at all. This reasoning is faulty. Criminals manage to smuggle in millions upon millions of pounds of illegal drugs, and thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants each year. They can (and do) smuggle in guns right along with the drugs and illegal immigrants. There are also hundreds of millions of guns in the country already. Finally, criminals can and do make guns, since it is not that difficult to make a gun that will work for their purposes. These home made guns (called “zip guns”) may not equal the quality of a fine Springfield 1911 or XD, but they will still kill, as will criminals without guns.
Gun possession charges don’t scare criminals
That same criminal who is willing to face the severe penalties for murder and other felonies is not going to be deterred by a misdemeanor or petty offense gun possession charge. What criminal would be willing to risk life in prison for murder, but is afraid of a misdemeanor gun charge? Even laws with harsher penalties for gun possession won’t deter criminals, since the crime they are committing while using the gun (such as murder, rape, robbery, carjacking, etc) will all have higher penalties already.
Law abiding citizens obey gun control laws and are left vulnerable as a result
The people who will obey the gun bans are the law abiding citizens, who wouldn’t commit crimes in the first place. Such people are the students at universities, the shoppers at malls, and the other good people in society who die in “gun free zones“. They obey the gun bans because they believe in laws, and because they don’t want a criminal conviction on their record. The problem is that these are the very people who we would want to have guns, since they could help stop criminals and otherwise protected themselves and the rest of society.
ABOLISH THESE “GUN FREE ZONES” AND STOP MAKING OUR CHILDREN AND INNOCENT CITIZENS DEFENSELESS TARGETS
Perhaps looking at a few high profile shootings will better illustrate the point.
1. The Columbine High School Massacre
The Columbine High School massacre occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado, near Denver and Littleton. Two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, embarked on a shooting rampage, killing 12 students and a teacher, as well as wounding 23 others, before committing suicide. The killers unlawfully brought guns into their high school, and proceeded to unlawfully kill innocent people, before unlawfully killing themselves. Guns were not allowed in the school, and neither was murder, yet law did not deter these people who were bent on committing murder then suicide. Perhaps if the teachers had been given the option to voluntarily receive training and a concealed handgun to defend themselves and their students, this tragedy could have been averted or at least lessened.
2. The Westroads Mall Shooting
The Westroads Mall shooting was a murder-suicide that occurred on December 5, 2007, at the Von Maur department store in the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Nineteen-year-old Robert A. Hawkins killed nine people (including himself) and wounded four, two of them critically. The mall was a “gun free” zone as well, meaning that law abiding citizens were not allowed to carry a gun for self defense. The killer who was bent on murdering as many people as he could, before committing suicide, wasn’t deterred by the laws against murder, nor was he deterred by the sign in front of the mall which stated guns were not allowed.
3. The Virginia Tech Massacre
The Virginia Tech massacre was a school shooting which occurred on April 16th, 2007, at the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg, Virginia. The perpetrator, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded many more before committing suicide. Virginia tech was a “gun free zone”, which meant the students and professors were forbidden to carry concealed handguns for their own protection. This didn’t deter the gunman, who just wanted to kill his fellow students before taking his own life. Again, a person who wants to die wasn’t deterred by the prospect of jail time for having a gun in the “gun free zone”, or even the possibility of being executed for committing murder.
4. The Northern Illinois University Shooting
The Northern Illinois University shooting was an incident that took place on February 14, 2008, during which a gunman shot multiple people on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, before committing suicide. Five of his victims were killed, eighteen were wounded. NIU’s campus was a gun free zone as well, and indeed the entire state of Illinois prohibits concealed carry. Once more we see that a gunman bent on murder and suicide didn’t follow the rules of the “gun free zone”, but his victims did follow the rules and were left defenseless.
5. The Lane Bryant Shooting
The Lane Bryant shooting was an incident of mass murder and armed robbery at a Lane Bryant clothing outlet in the Brookside Marketplace in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park, Illinois, that occurred on February 2, 2008. The shooting resulted in five fatalities, and the injury of another. The killer used his gun to subdue 6 women, before binding and killing them. The gunman escaped and is still at large, despite the fact that an armed police officer was just a couple thousand feet away. Being in the state of Illinois, concealed carry is illegal, so all 6 of the women were defenseless. The gunman, who was willing to risk the death penalty or life in prison for murder, kidnapping, and armed robbery, wasn’t deterred by the law against carrying a concealed handgun. The victims, being law abiding people, followed the law and were left defenseless.
6. The Fort Hood Shootings
A murderer who ignored the Army’s strict rules against carrying a loaded gun on a military base killed 13 soldiers and wounded dozens more. The victims, who abided by the Army’s gun control rules, were defenseless. The deadly shooting spree was only stopped when a civilian police officer arrived and shot the gunman.
7. The Mercaz HaRav Massacre
A lone gunman shot multiple students at the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva, a religious school in Jerusalem, Israel. Eight students and the shooter were killed and ten more were wounded, five of them in serious to critical condition. The attack began at 8:36 p.m. local time and ended about twenty minutes later. The attacker was not stopped by the police, but rather by a student, Yitzhak Dadon, whom saved the lives of countless students by lawfully shooting the attacker with his personal firearm. This is a clear example of a student who was permitted by law to carry a concealed handgun, and who used this handgun to stop the criminal and save lives. One can only wonder how many lives at Columbine, Virginia Tech, Lane Bryant, Northern Illinois University, and the Westroads mall could have been saved if the law abiding victims and bystanders had been allowed to carry a gun for self defense.
THE WAKING GIANT 
Lots of “crazed idiots” out there. Is there a correlation to things like Benghazi and “Fast and Furious”? I may sound crazy but what investigation is being done regarding associations these people have made with outside influences? (I’m being rhetorical, do you really expect the media to honestly investigate ANYTHING?) Again, the almost instantaneous response of the Communists (if the Communist Manifesto says they should announce themselves and intentions, I see no reason not to help them out) in the media and Government seem to indicate another Hegelian Dialectic in the making.
Those beasts were screaming “gun control” even before the body count was announced. “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” You know, there’s a part of me that wants to force the obama regime to expose their true goals with regard to stealing our Second Amendment rights. We know they want to, their actions demonstrate that fact, but what they have yet to do is to announce it to the world. I want them to be forced to do that. When they do, gun owners will know, without a doubt, what we’re in for. Far too many believe it can’t happen here. Those of us paying attention know that it CAN happen here and that it WILL happen here.

It is common that the glassy-eyed heathens jump and blame something or someone before the smoke clears enough to see what happened. What happened is Satan moved on a troubled man, who was a gamer, a gother, a brilliant student, but had some social developmental problems.
The investigators have not yet determined motive or just what made a 20-year old commit such a horrific evil as did Adam Lanzo. Authorities did say, (according to the Washington Post), that they had collected “some good evidence”, which could mean they picked up the casings. We simply don’t know.
For the gun control freaks, it makes no difference, if a gun was used it was the gun’s fault. There is a day coming in which these glassy eyed communists will wish they had a gun with plenty of ammunition. But to try to explain that is akin to spitting into the wind, it is an act of futility nothing short of experiencing a thug pointing his pistol at their eyeball ready to pull the trigger, that they wish they had the situation on a level playing field.
There was a time when I supported the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms more for hunting, I went from my .270 to my .50 cal., muzzle loader and found a great thrill in hunting, just took more skill. Now that I seldom hunt, (and the social environment enabled by the glassy eyed liberals), there is a definite need for more fire power to defend my family and home.
In this case, we just do not know enough yet, but one thing is for sure it was not the guns! It was a genuine EVIL controlled man, with a purpose and a pre-committal evil motive which moved him to carry out his evil plan.
Some of the readers will flippantly brush me off because I use the word evil, nonetheless, when there is 20 bloody babies (children aged 5 – 10), who will not open their presents under the Christmas tree in just a few short days, whose mothers were not even able to hold their cold bodies or remove them from the scene, that my friend is evil pure and simple evil!

I found an old VHS recording of “Helter Skelter” the other day and wondered if it had ever been released on DVD. I found it on DVD today when I was getting a couple videos for my kids for Christmas. My uncle Rudy was a cartoonist in the ’30’s through the 60s and started with Walt Disney in Kansas City (He did cartoons with Hugh Harmon and others later in his career, you can still see some on Turner Classic Movies as fillers sometimes). Rudy lived just a few doors down from the Tate/Polanski residence in Benedict Canyon, California when the Manson gang did their thing. The Hollywood crowd just gets better with age don’t they?
Today someone on twitter said something related to the fact that hollywood jesters’ coffers are chock full of gold they’ve accumulated with movies about violence, horrors, drugs, illegals and various other criminals doing bad things. While they spew their rhetoric about citizens acting badly, they ought to look in the mirror and ask themselves what part they’ve played in this big, wicked picture.
And why are the glassy eyeds whining and screaming so loudly about business executives who make good money running corporations that employ citizens and provide services, while ignoring the multi-million dollar sports figures and the hollywood jesters who make their living by lying about who and what they are?
Why are Conservatives hollering so loudly about unions, while at the same time watching pro sports teams (unions) who go on strike each and every year? I used to be a diehard Packers and NHL fan, but I quit cold turkey when they stood with the union thugs against Governor Walker a while back. I miss my Packers, and Sunday football games, but I got fed up with watching the annual union strikes and with their allegiance to the union thugs who are physically beating us in the streets in order to help the obama regime shove the obamacare scheme down our throats.
Seems almost everyone is a hypocrite these days. I’m so sick of all this.
You think it’s despicable to call for gun control? Isn’t it also a little insensitive to refer to the bodies of people’s dead children? I think people calling for gun control are reacting in panic. They just want to protect their children. Their intentions are good.
Although, I do kind of agree that they’re ignoring the real issue. It reminds me of the way airport security reacted to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the subsequent attempts that followed. When they saw people attacking planes, they beefed up security specifically around airports. When they saw someone hiding a bomb in his underwear, they initiated invasive and disrespectful body pat-downs of law-abiding citizens. They saw a symptom, and they targeted that specific symptom as if criminals were only going to try that same thing over and over again.
Increased security in schools, gun control, and even mental health counseling is only treating symptoms. But there’s something deeply wrong with the way we all live if people feel the motivation to go out and kill other people. I mean, we all get angry from time to time, but what makes a person just want to give up on everything and go insane? It’s like they have no creative or constructive outlet for all that energy, so it turns negative.
I’m pretty jaded about life myself, but I don’t own a gun, and I’d never considered buying one. I don’t play violent video games either, and neither do I watch horror movies (or porn), because I find such things negative and unpleasant.
Adam Lanza’s mother apparently owned a gun, which he then used to kill her. That seems a little ironic. The gun she thought would save her life one day is actually what ended up taking it. My mom, on the other hand, discouraged me from ever playing with toy guns when I was young.
My general feeling about guns is that I wish people would consider non-lethal means of defending themselves, like pepper spray and Tasers. That’s what I might buy if I ever felt the need to own a weapon.
Shooting people is dangerous. You could damage their organs, which could cause them a lot of Hell, and the bleeding from the bullet wound might require stitches. I don’t wish that kind of pain on my enemies. I’d just want to convince them to leave me alone without harming them.

Once their heart stops beating the blood only has gravity to move it. The solution here is to turn the body over so the perforations are pointing up and eventually the blood will coagulate so when the police arrive there is less of a mess to clean up. Ask any Policeman, the Police carry guns to protect themselves, not the public. “The most useful things the Police carry in terms of the public good is the chalk they use to outline the deceased”. One of my best OLD friends is the armorer for the local SWAT Squad and this quote was from him to me and now to you.
So check this out, you can find articles on CNN, CBS and even the Washington Post if you look around the edges, an outright search will find only pieces but look up the information from earlier dates and things like divorce notices. Lanza’ mother started “Prepping” because, according to friends, she was convinced the financial collapse of the United States was imminent (she would probably know seeing who her ex-husband was).
So….. lets see, Adam Lanza was the son of Peter Lanza, tax director at General Electric who was scheduled to testify before Congress on the LIBOR Scandal and the father of James Holmes was Robert Holmes, a ‘Fraud Scientist’ at FICO who was ALSO scheduled to testify before Congress on the LIBOR Scandal. Out of a population of about Three hundred and fifty million people (350,000,000) we have two basket case loonies who go in and shoot up innocent children and movie goers and their only connections are fathers who are scheduled to testify on LIBOR. Can anybody out there calculate the odds for me? And in the same time period General Petraeus has a girl friend and “retires” while Hilly has a fainting spell and can’t remember her testimony on Benghazi (or Vince Foster, or Whitewater, or….) Pathetic doesn’t even begin to describe these people. These events were most likely staged or stage managed for the “crisis impact”.
Historically speaking, this phase is called “the Consolidation of Power” when Communists take over the Government. Get ready, it’s already here and you’re too late.
